It is always recommended to remove it in salt water or chlorine, or putting on any strong skincare products.

Gold plating is a layer of gold applied to a base metal. It is recommend to keep it dry and away from skincare products. Remove to shower, don’t wear swimming, and avoid coming into daily contact with lotion, perfumes, and creams.
